Democracy and Rule of Law crisis: An Euro-Latinoamerican Approach

In this panel the crisis of liberal democracy and rule of law will be addresed from a multidisciplinar approach and focus. Institutional issues, theoretical approaches and case studies will be analyzed taking into consideration the European and Latinamerican contexts from a comparative perspective. This perspective will enrich future studies and would help to frame the particular features linked to each region. The role of the European Union in keeping safe liberal democracy, the impact of COVID19 on democracy quality or particular cases of Spain, Poland and a transversal analysis of the latinamerican context will be some of the issues that will be discussed.
