Federalism Perspectives: lessons from Argentina (Spanish)

In this panel we will address address some pitfalls and complications of federalism in practice. Federalism is not mere decentralization, but also a constitutional “big idea“ that should be embedded with a fundamental rights approach. We will tackle both institutional and rights issues, set in the Argentine context, but in doing so we will also think -and argue- on the implications for the need to avoid the overcentralization perils while maintaining the substance and integrity of rights, which is also a global concern in political theory.
