Human Rights and the Future of Public Law
This Plenary Panel features four distinct and distinguished voices on human rights. Panelists will be invited to comment on the challenge of translating theory to practice in human rights, the cross-jurisdictional diversity in rights expectations and understandings, the use and efficacy of art activism, and the bases for critiquing rights-talk. Combining a series of discussion questions and more targeted questions, this Plenary Panel will foster a conversational exchange among panelists and will also reserve time for attendees to raise questions and make comments. All are welcome to this panel moderated by Richard Albert, Co-Presidents-Elect of the International Society of Public Law.
