New Patterns in Cultural Heritage Law

The panel is devoted to analyzing some profiles of the ongoing transformations of cultural heritage law. In this sense, in the panel will be discussed: the role of Unesco‘s decisions in the case of contested religious heritage – the evolution of the doctrine of the responsibility to protect, the introduction of the Faro Convention and the relevance of the notion of intangible cultural heritage – the impact of the covid-19 crisis on the financing of culture.
