Private Challenges and Public Law. Reflections within the Jean Monnet Chair Business Law in the European Union and Sustainable Economy – BLEUSE

Law is a social science and, as such, it is in perpetual transformation. This transforming process may be stopped or accelerated, depending on a series of events (e.g.: political, social, environmental events). Therefore, the panel – that is the product of the research work carried on within the Jean Monnet Chair BLEUSE – aims at offering a wide-ranging reflection on the future of public law, especially in the light of guaranteeing a high level of sustainability and taking also into consideration changes that pandemic of Covid-19 is imposing. The panel involves the participation of scholars coming from different areas of legal studies and considers in general examples and forms of interaction between public and private subjects in answering our society’s demands.

Chair(s): Alessio Bartolacelli
