Public Law in the Eye of the storm-Reflections from Africa
The modus operandi of public life was altered in 2020 with the COVID-19 Pandemic. The implication of this is that the manner in which the law presently reflects to the activities in the society is increasingly novel. Given that the law and in this instance Public Law is a regulatory architecture of the was we interact the way we interact in the new normal becomes germane. This panel would reflect on the way various sectors of existence would react vis-a-vis the situation of the law. From the role of the judiciary to rights of vulnerable people, gender and ethics, the panel would provide reflections from the global south particularly Nigeria and seek to advance a path that could be walked on towards driving a developed society.
